IL MAKIAGE Makeup

Selfie Wearing IL MAKIAGE Makeup

I recently tried IL MAKIAGE in my search for a new foundation and concealer after seeing reviews on Instagram about how well their products matched skin tones. I have fairly light skin that tends to tan in the summer, with undertones I can never quite pin down, so hunting for foundation or concealer can be quite the journey. It either looks too light or too dark against my skin, and only works for half of the year before my skin changes color under the sun.

A lot of beauty and makeup brands have started offering more shade options to meet the needs of the various skin tones people have. IL MAKIAGE looked to have a wide range and interesting quiz to accurately guess the right shade for someone’s skin tone, so I decided to try it out. After taking the quiz, I ended up selecting both foundation and concealer, since my current ones are about to expire or run out of product. With my selection came a bunch of other goodies that I have been trying and loving!

I took a quick video the first time I put on the makeup to show how well it matches my skin and the coverage it provides. At the end is the finished look I did for a quick shoot!

Trying out the foundation & concealer

Everything went on smoothly and the brush is so soft — it feels so gentle on the skin and doesn’t absorb half of the product like some of my other brushes do. The primer is a nice starter, while the foundation and concealer are not flaky, heavy, or cakey. Everything feels light and smooth! The eyeliner is full and dark, and the creamy lipstick dries instantly to a gorgeous color. The packaging is also really nice, and it all came in a cute box with info cards. I took photos of each product I used.
